Thousands of people marched in Berlin in protest against TTIP a planned free trade deal between European Union and the United States. Activists (including Greenpeace, WWF, BUNDjugend) and citizens have met not only in Berlin but also in London, Munich, Brussels and other major European cities to march against the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership, the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) and the Trade In Services Agreement (TISA).
From Potsdamer Platz through Brandenburger Tor to the offices of the European Commission, protesters, forming a human chain, shouted slogans against one of the most important financial agreement that will influence our future lives. It was a positive event without acts of violence. Very interesting was the moment in wich symbolic boxes had been handed from one partecipant to the other.
Was a long day, here below the video that Giuseppe Govinda made. Watch it on our youtube channel IsoladelleroseTV.
